Google is rolling out a new feature for Google My Business (GMB) listings - Short Names. Think of your GMB Short Name like your Twitter handle or your Instagram username. EX: @bnbwebsites The primary function of your GMB Short Name is to provide a condensed URL that you can easily distribute. EX: g.page/bnbwebsites You can give this short URL to customers who may not be sure how to leave you a Google review. Or it might help someone find you on Google Maps. There are several useful applications for your GMB Short Name so be sure to claim yours right away, as each Short Name must be unique.
